2017 Pinot Noir, Helluva Vineyard
This blend from the warmer end of the valley near Boonville is comprised of Pommard (78%) and Rochioli (22%) field selections. Aromas of red cherry, baking spices, graphite, nutty and earthy notes. Medium-bodied with flavors of strawberries, rhubarb, black olive, some nutty and herbal character from partial stem inclusion. Round in the mouth with balanced acidity. Finishes rich and supple with candied fruit on long finish. Aged for 10 months in all French Oak barrels (33% new).
