2025 Brightlighter White
Brightlighter - a Boontling term which means "people from the city," is our white blend made in a slightly off-dry style, the perfect accompaniment for an afternoon picnic. A mixture of our Estate Gewurztraminer (62%), and Romani Pinot Gris (38%) from Anderson Valley.
Aromatic and fruity on the nose, showing notes of lychee, banana, orange, and honeysuckle. Mouth-filling flavors of Bartlett pear, honeydew melon, and hints of ginger. Fermentation began in stainless-steel tanks and then racked to 500 L neutral oak puncheons to finish. Stirred on the lees adding to its mouthfeel but avoiding malolactic fermentation. Soft, round, and full on the palate due to small amounts or residual sugar. Noticeable acid focusing the fruity finish.
