RSM Vineyard Anderson Valley
The fruit for this wine comes from our RSM Estate vineyard, located high above the valley floor. A mix of Dijon 115 and 667 clones as well as Pommard. The high skin to juice ratio of mountain fruit provides intense aromas of ripe black cherries, briary fruit, baking spices, and mushroom earthy notes. It shows intense and persistent flavors of blueberry and huckleberry pie, root beer, soy and salty seaweed and has a velvety finish complimented by ripe chalky tannins. Aged for 10 months in
all French Oak barrels (33% new). Received 93 points from the Press Democrat and Gold Best of Class from Dan Berger Wine Competition at the time of release.
