Roderick Ranch Vineyard, Anderson Valley

This small family-owned vineyard located in the extreme Deep End of Anderson Valley is planted with a mix of Dijon clones 115 and 777. This vintage was picked later and little riper due to challenging events during the growing season which delayed picking. This offering is medium-bodied, showing aromas of warm cherry pie, cream, violets, forest floor and notes of caramel and baking spices. This wine has a sweet fruit core with flavors of candied cherries, red plum, raspberries with hints of cardamom. Round on the palate with crisp acidity framing the velvety finish with notes of salinity. Aged for 10 months in all French Oak barrels (33% new).
