Handley Estate Vineyard, Anderson Valley
The grapes for this intensely flavored perfumed wine originate from our Handley Estate Vineyard planted in 1997 and CCOF certified since 2005. It shows aromas of rose petals, jasmine, and notes of citrus. This wine is fruity and full on the palate with rich flavors of grapefruit, banana, green tangerine, lychee, ginger spice, and finishing with a hint of lime zest. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel and large format, neutral wood barrels. The portion fermented in stainless steel provides intense fruit, spice, and bright acidity. The wine aged in barrels on the lees which contributes to the weight and roundness on the palate of this dry wine. No animal derived compounds were used in the production of this wine.
