Our first Pinot Blanc since the 2019 vintage. The grapes come from the Rivino Vineyard located along the Russian River in Ukiah. It immediately draws you in with its sunny nature, showing aromas of spring flowers, peach blossoms, and hints of fresh cream. Fleshy and full on the palate with flavors of musk melon, pineapple, and macadamia. Fermentation started in stainless steel tanks, then racked to older 500 L puncheons to finish. Stirring on the lees, exposure to small amounts of oxygen, and the tannins in the neutral oak clarified and added a creamy texture. We avoided malolactic fermentation, preserving fruity character and crisp acidity on the finish. Sterile filtered before bottling with no animal derived compounds used.
